About part number A1776206700A front slam panel is a structural support component located at the very front of the engine bay. It forms part of the vehicle bodywork framework and provides a rigid mounting point for the bonnet latch, headlights, and front cooling radiators. When it is working correctly, the bonnet aligns neatly with the front wings and shuts securely with a firm, solid action. To confirm that this part is correct for your vehicle, you must check that your original unit displays the part number A1776206700. On a slam panel, this code is typically stamped into the metal surface or printed on an attached manufacturer label. Matching this exact number is the only way to guarantee a proper fit, as subtle structural differences exist between different production specifications. A slam panel is usually replaced after a front-end impact or collision that bends or cracks the original framework. When installing a replacement, technicians frequently need new bonnet latch mechanisms, plastic retaining clips, and fresh mounting bolts to ensure the surrounding components attach correctly. |
