About part number 9802523677A fog light surround trim cover is an exterior body component that sits in the front bumper. It frames the front fog light assembly, securing the lamp in place while protecting the housing and surrounding wiring from road debris, water, and dirt. When this trim is correctly fitted, it provides a neat, finished appearance to the front of the vehicle and keeps the fog light correctly positioned. To ensure this is the correct part for your vehicle, you must match the manufacturer part number 9802523677 directly with the number stamped on your original trim. This part number is usually molded or stamped onto the back surface of the plastic casing. Matching the part number is the only way to confirm exact fitment, as shape and fixing clip locations vary between different trim versions. These covers are most commonly replaced after minor front-end impacts, parking scrapes, or because the plastic retaining clips have snapped, causing the trim to become loose or fall off. When replacing this cover, you may also require new plastic bumper retaining clips or screws if the original fixings were damaged or lost during removal. |
