About part number 9832155180A front slam panel is a structural support component located at the very front of the engine bay. It forms part of the front-end body structure, holding the radiator, cooling fans, bonnet latch, and headlights securely in position. When this part is fitted correctly and working as intended, the bonnet latches smoothly and safely, and the front body panels align neatly without uneven gaps. To confirm that this is the correct part for your vehicle, you must match the manufacturer part number directly. Check the original panel on your vehicle for stamped or printed numbers; this item corresponds to part number 9832155180. Matching this exact number is the only way to ensure proper alignment and fitment, as vehicle models use different front frame designs. Slam panels are usually replaced after a front-end impact, as even minor deformation prevents the bonnet from closing properly or causes cooling components to misalign. When replacing this component, installers often need replacement bonnet latch mechanisms, mounting brackets, clips, and plastic retainers, which are frequently damaged during removal or in the original collision. |
