About part number JX53-14B566-CBA seat memory control module is an electronic unit that manages the electric seat adjustments on a vehicle. It connects to the seat positioning motors, the seat adjustment switches, and the vehicle wiring harness. When functioning correctly, it allows the driver to store their preferred seating position and automatically adjust the seat at the touch of a button. To ensure this component is correct for your vehicle, you must check the part number on your original module against the number JX53-14B566-CB. On an electronic unit of this type, the part number is usually printed on a white sticker or stamped directly onto the plastic casing. Matching the part number exactly is the only way to confirm correct fitment. These units are typically replaced when internal circuit failure, water ingress, or electrical faults cause the electric seats to stop moving or lose their memory settings. Anyone replacing this module may also need the correct plastic trim removal tools and replacement plastic trim clips, as access usually requires removing interior panels around the seat base. |
