About part number FW9319C089DAThis part is a roof aerial, which receives radio and navigation signals for the vehicle's infotainment system. Mounted on the outer roof panel, it connects through the headlining to the wiring loom inside the cabin. When it is functioning correctly, the driver receives clear radio reception and reliable signal data for the onboard electronics. To confirm that this is the correct part for your vehicle, match part number FW9319C089DA directly with the number stamped or printed on your original unit. The label or cast marking is usually visible on the underside of the aerial base once it is unbolted from the roof. Matching the part number exactly is the only way to guarantee correct fitment and electrical compatibility. When replacing a roof aerial, a technician typically needs basic trim removal tools to lower the interior headlining without damaging it, along with a fresh sealing washer or gasket to prevent rainwater from leaking into the cabin. These units are usually replaced after suffering physical impact damage, water ingress, or internal component failure that causes poor signal reception.
