About part number LR042759A rear heated window glass is part of the vehicle bodywork and visibility system. Mounted in the rear door or tailgate frame, it provides a clear view out of the back of the vehicle. Electrical heating elements embedded in the glass clear condensation, frost, and ice when switched on, helping the driver maintain clear rearward vision in cold or damp weather. To ensure this is the correct glass for your vehicle, check the part number against the original unit being replaced. Manufacturer part numbers are usually printed, etched, or stamped directly onto the corner of the glass or near the edge trim. Matching the exact part number LR042759 is the only way to guarantee a correct fit. A rear heated glass is usually replaced due to stone chips, cracks, shattering, or failure of the printed heating element circuits. When replacing this part, technicians commonly use new rubber seals, window bonding adhesive, or fresh electrical connectors to secure the glass and restore the defroster circuits. |
