About part number N9X2-17C769-AA rear bumper trim panel forms part of the exterior bodywork on the left-hand side of the vehicle. It attaches to the main rear bumper assembly to protect the lower body from road debris and minor impacts, whilst completing the exterior styling. When fitted correctly, it aligns flush with the surrounding body panels to give a clean factory appearance. To confirm this part is correct for your vehicle, match the part number N9X2-17C769-A against the number stamped into your existing panel. You may also find the alternative reference LR169076 or 28092421S19 on the original unit. Matching these exact numbers is the only way to guarantee a correct fit, as vehicle models and years must not be relied upon. This panel features a primed finish and requires a respray to match your vehicle paint colour before fitting. Mechanics usually replace these trim panels following low-speed rear collisions, scuffs against kerbs, or when plastic mounting clips have broken away. You may need replacement trim clips or fasteners during installation to secure the new panel properly.
