About part number A1776204500A radiator lower bracket mount is a structural support component that sits within the engine cooling system. It secures the bottom of the main radiator unit to the front panel or subframe of the vehicle, holding it firmly in position while isolating it from engine vibration and road movement. When this mount is functioning correctly, the radiator remains steady and stable, ensuring the cooling hoses stay firmly attached without stress or fluid leaks. To confirm that this is the correct component for your vehicle, you must match the part number A1776204500 exactly. On a original structural bracket, this number is typically stamped or cast directly into the plastic or metal body of the mount itself. Comparing this code against the part number on your existing unit is the only way to guarantee a correct fit. These mounts are usually replaced after front-end impact damage, or because the rubber inserts inside them have perished, softened, or cracked over time. When fitting a replacement lower mount, it is common to replace the accompanying rubber anti-vibration bushes or securing bolts to ensure the cooling assembly is held securely. |
