About part number A2479003603An LED headlight control unit, also known as a ballast or ECU, manages the power supply and operating signals for modern LED headlamps. As an integral component of the lighting system, it connects directly to the headlight assembly and the vehicle electronic control network. When it is working correctly, the driver enjoys bright, steady road illumination and proper operation of automatic lighting features. To confirm that this part is correct for your vehicle, you must check the original manufacturer part number printed on your existing unit. For this item, the reference to match is A2479003603. Looking at the part number on the label or stamped into the metal casing is the only reliable way to ensure a correct match. These units are typically replaced due to failure caused by water ingress, internal electronic faults, or damage from a front-end impact. When fitting a replacement module, you may also need new seals or gaskets for the headlight housing to keep moisture out, along with fresh mounting screws or retaining clips. |
