About part number 9826784A PDC parking sensor is an electronic distance-monitoring component in the vehicle parking assistance system. It fits into the bumper or body trim and connects to the parking control module wiring harness. When working correctly, the sensor detects obstacles near the vehicle during low-speed manoeuvres and provides distance information that alerts the driver through audible beeps or visual display graphics inside the cabin. To confirm that this part is correct for your vehicle, you must match the part number directly. Check the housing of your existing original sensor, as the manufacturer stamps or prints the reference number onto the plastic casing. Matching part number 9826784 exactly is the only way to guarantee correct fitment and electrical compatibility. A parking sensor is usually replaced after stone-chip damage, water ingress, or internal electrical failure causes system warning messages. When replacing a sensor, you often need a replacement rubber decoupling ring or retaining clip to ensure a weather-tight seal and secure mounting in the bumper aperture. |
