About part number A9066920100An A-pillar trim cover is an interior moulding that clips onto the structural pillar beside the windscreen. It covers the bare metal, secures the edge of the door weatherstrip, and protects internal wiring or airbag components. When it is fitted correctly, it gives the cabin a neat finish and keeps wind noise to a minimum while driving. To confirm that this part is correct for your vehicle, you must check that your original component displays the part number A9066920100. Manufacturer reference numbers are typically stamped or moulded directly into the plastic on the reverse side of the casing. Matching this number exactly is the only way to ensure the replacement will fit properly. These interior trims are usually replaced if the plastic has cracked, the mounting lugs have snapped during removal, or the surface has become badly scuffed. When renewing this cover, you often need replacement plastic retaining clips, as the original fasteners frequently break or lose tension when the old panel is pulled away from the pillar. |
