Informazioni sul codice ricambio 9816778580A fog light trim grille is an exterior body component that sits in the front bumper surrounding the front fog lamp. It secures and protects the fog light assembly while filling the bumper aperture to give the front end a finished appearance. When it is correctly fitted, it aligns flush with the surrounding bodywork, keeping the light stable and preventing dirt or road debris from entering the bumper cavity. To confirm this is the correct part for your vehicle, match the part number 9816778580 directly against the number stamped into your original trim. On plastic body mouldings of this type, the part number is usually moulded or printed onto the rear face of the plastic, which you can see once the original piece is removed. Matching this exact number is the only way to ensure the correct shape, mounting clips and sensor cut-outs for the right-hand side of the vehicle. These trims are usually replaced after minor front-end impacts, parking scrapes, or because the plastic retaining clips have snapped and caused the grille to fall out. When fitting a replacement trim grille, you may also need new plastic fixing clips, a replacement fog light lens if the original was damaged in the same incident, or a bumper removal tool to gain access behind the panel. |
