About part number 98025371XTA windscreen scuttle panel cover sits at the base of the front windscreen, directing rainwater away from the glass and into the drainage system. It shields the wiper linkage, heater intake, and wiring from leaves and road debris. When the panel is intact and correctly fitted, water drains away smoothly, reducing cabin noise and preventing moisture from entering the heating vents. To ensure this is the correct part for your vehicle, match the part number 98025371XT directly with the number stamped on your original panel. You can usually find this number moulded into the underside or edge of the plastic casing. Checking this exact number is the only way to confirm it will fit correctly. These covers are usually replaced when the plastic becomes brittle, cracks, or loses its mounting clips, which can cause water leaks into the footwells. When replacing this panel, you often need replacement plastic retaining clips, and you may need a wiper arm puller tool to remove the wiper arms during installation. |
