About part number 9H22-29149-AThis part is a rear left-hand side wing extension, which forms part of the exterior vehicle bodywork. It attaches to the rear quarter panel and wheel arch area, helping to cover the tyre, prevent mud and road spray from flinging onto the body, and protect the paintwork. When fitted correctly, it sits flush with the surrounding panels and aligns neatly with the trim lines of the vehicle. To ensure this is the correct part for your repair, you must match the manufacturer part number 9H22-29149-A directly with the number stamped or printed on your original part. On plastic trim components like this, the part number is typically moulded into the inner or reverse side of the casing. Matching this exact number is the only way to guarantee a correct fit. Wing extensions are usually replaced due to impact damage, severe scratches, or broken mounting clips following a minor collision or off-road use. When fitting a replacement trim piece, you will often need new plastic retaining clips, trim fasteners, or double-sided bonding tape to secure it firmly to the bodywork. |
